so i got a 91 power ram w150, and i got a buddy who builds shackel lifts, my question is simple. can a stock driveline handle a 4 inch shackel lift, or is it too much of a angle for the driveline? if its too much whats the most i can put in?

Well I got to tell you making a 4" longer shackle than you have will give u about 2" of lift. With that being said, normally u can go 4" of lift before driveshafts are a concern. But there is a catch, I am not familer with a dodge. I would be guessing the shackles are behind both axles? Hint:long shackle between axle and t-case put driveshft in bad angle. If this is true you need to spend 200 bucks and buy a set of 4" for the front. U can do anything to the rear u want. It won't hurt a thing. Blocks shackles both. Shackles actually help drive shaft angles on rearends. BTW never heard of a guy call himself a shackle lift builder! Lol
